Painted Heavens

  • Home — The real night sky of your moment, computed and painted into fine art.
  • How we compute the sky — The astronomy behind every chart: the catalogues, the ephemeris, the projection, and where tradition ends and computation begins.
  • Create your sky — Enter a date, time and place and see the real night sky of that moment, instantly; choose a style and a format.
  • About — The studio, and the rule it keeps: we commemorate, we never predict.
  • Give a sky — Give the night that mattered: a computed, museum-grade star map, with an anniversary reminder built in.
  • Your moments — Saved skies, ready to re-order or gift. Sign-in arrives with the accounts release.
  • Questions — Plain answers: is it the real sky, does it name a star, what it costs, future dates, accuracy, shipping and returns.
  • Sitemap — Every page of this site, and the other Painted studios.
  • Legal — Who runs Painted Heavens, and every policy in one place.
  • About our charts — What in a chart is computed fact and what is tradition, clearly labelled.
  • Terms — Terms of service: what a chart is and is not (it names no star), made to order, the honest limits, governing law.
  • Privacy — What we collect and why, who processes it, how long it is kept. No analytics, no advertising pixels, no third-party trackers.
  • Refunds and returns — Damaged, defective or wrong: a remake or a refund within 30 days of delivery. Made-to-order pieces are not returnable for a change of mind.
  • Cookies — One cookie, set only when you open a downloads link, and one browser-storage key for the creator.

The Painted.App family

  • Painted — The family's own studio: type one line and it is painted, then sold as a file, print, canvas or apparel.
